Among the Aspen

This is an original 12" x 12" painting done in ink, watercolor, and gouache on aquabord.
"Among the Aspen" depicts a beautiful aspen-filled hike in peak fall colors outside of Lake City, Colorado. As I walked the trail, a large mule deer buck walked in sync, eventually stopping to show his still-velvet antlers.
