This is an original 12" x 12" ink, watercolor, and gouache painting.
"First Spring" was a sight from a painting horse pack trip outside of Crested Butte, Colorado - a mother and her moose calf enjoying an open meadow of greenery, that they'd walk into daily from the shelter of the evergreens they stayed in at night.
